Founded over five decades ago by Mr. Nitin Parikh, Sterling Abrasives Pvt. Ltd. has grown from a small family business into one of India’s leading producers of bonded abrasives. Over the years, the legacy has been proudly carried forward by his son
Mr. Nirav Parikh and grandson Mr. Aditya Parikh, continuing the family’s commitment to quality, trust, and innovation.
A major milestone came 25 years ago with Sterling’s strategic partnership with Carborundum Universal Limited (CUMI),
enhancing its technical expertise and global reach.
Rooted in legacy and driven by progress, Sterling continues to uphold the vision that began with its founder.

Installed 2000 Ton press for large dia wheels

Invented vitrified bonded stones
for Pulse Milling Application

Developed Extra Long Life stones
for rice milling application

Developed vitrified bonded wheels
for High Speed Application – 80 MPS
